How do I find a good web hosting service?
Q. I am trying to learn web design and need to find a cheap web host. I checked out Comcast and Google but they just have these pre-designed templates that look like they're for people who just want to post stuff about their family reunion, etc. What I want to do is design pages in html and CSS and display them and the ones I mention won't let me do that. Q. I've a website and i've launched it through a host. Whenever i open, it opens and i don't find any wrong with it but others say that it has not been launched properly. I tried to host it through the google web host but it also replied me the same that it hasn't been launched fully. What's that? What should there be to launch it fully? its urgent plz help!!
A. Have you verified through some other computers by running the same URL? Are you sure your friends are accessing the correct URL? It might be possible that the page requires some softwares like a specific or advanced version of flash, which is not installed on your friend's system but is installed on your system, same goes for a specific font etc.
