What prevents a subscriber to Google Adsense from clicking on his own advertisements?

Q. I have recently started looking into Google Adsense as a possible way to make a little money off of a website. And I am just wondering what would stop an Adsense subscriber from clicking his own advertisements on his own website in order to generate revenue? Have I found a loophole in the program? Should I contact Google about it?

A. No need to contact Google. They have their ways of knowing whether or not you're trying to cheat them, though they don't make their methods known. But they do make it known, in their terms of service, that clicking on your own ads (especially doing it a lot) is prohibited. And many people have been admonished / kicked off for doing just that. You want to try it, go ahead. ;)

How does a minor Get a Google adsense account legally? Does Google adsesne take tax out of your check?
Q. How does a minor make a Google adsense legally? Does Google adsense take tax out of your check or do they take it out of the payee's bank account?

A. If you are in the US, Google will tax your income if you have received more than $600 in your account

You cannot sign up as a minor with Adsense. A parent has to sign up for you, and they need to give their tax ID number. If your parent is a US citizen & you make over $600 in one year Google will automatically send them a 1099 form & the IRS stating the earnings.
