What companies are able to move storage sheds?
Q. My uncle built very stable storage shed outside his former trailer. But he just recently bought a trailer, not even 5 miles far from the old trailer. We are wondering if there are any companies out there that specialize in moving buildings like the one mentioned here.

I have already tried Google, and Yellow Pages looking for those types of companies but the ones that appeared were from far away states like Michigan and Minnesota. But we live in Virginia. Do any of y'all have any suggestions?

BTW: We live by the cities Roanoke and Rocky Mount.

Thank you.

A. I'd try the companies locally who sell them. They often deliver them complete and assembled.

What is the best way to bring in business? -Cabling Contractor-?
Q. I work for a voice and data cabling contractor in the San Francisco bay area.
We have a website, we are on google and yellow pages,
I frequently cold call on businesses in our industry.

How else can I drive new customers toward our services?
(We install category 5 cable, and fiber optic cable for commercial buildings).

A. Contact electrical contractors (even those with a low-voltage division). They may need you to do specialty work or subcontract to you.

Contact companies that sell computer hardware and related equipment. They may be able to use you as an installer or, at a minimum, provide a way for you to advertise your services at their business (especially if you offer to refer your customers to them).

Contact the landlords for commercial buildings in your area, especially those that have tenants moving in or out. You may also be able to make some contacts with commercial real estate agents with the hope of being referred to their clients.

Contact the network services IT professional at medium to larger companies. Sometimes the company contracts for these types of installation services directly instead of having the landlord. There are several large-ish pharmaceutical companies in the SF area that might be good targets.

Contact everyone you have done work for in the past (assuming they were happy) and ask them if they need any additional work and if they can refer you to any companies that might be in need of your services.
