How well does Google Ad Words compare to other on-line advertising outlets?

Q. Are there any stats on cost per lead and maybe quality of leads from Google Ad Words compared to other options? Looking for best value for money for software lead generation.

A. I think it's the best available. Depending on your keywords, bids start at 1-5 cents a click & up. Traffic is almost instantaneous.

Is there a safe number of keywords one should use if they are just starting to use Google ad words?
Q. Whats the safest amount of keywords i should use in Google ad word?
If my budget is $10 per day will the number of keywords i add affect my daily budget.

A. I typically start with 5-10 long tail keywords that is very relevant to the searcher. If you're just starting out, don't go for broad keywords because your conversions will not be good. Long tail keywords are great because it's going to be very specific to the searcher and you can get really cheap clicks. I learned this from Kyle and Carson who started with just $5 for their daily budget. They give their techniques on their Who Loves Money guide. The Slow Roller Technique is going to show you how to target profitable keywords without breaking your bank account.

Is their anybody making money off their blog using Google ad words?
Q. I'm in the process of getting my blog started and i need to know if i could make a living using Google ad words with it.

A. Yes you can make a living off your blog using Adsense (not adwords, adwords is where you advertise your business, and pay for that. Adsense is where you show the ads from adwords, and you get paid for that).
The thing is that it will take quite some effort, and time. How soon you will be able to make a living off of it is hard to say, since it depends on numerous things, one of them being how much money you need monthly to live :-)
