A. You can't just download any program onto any device. There must be a google earth live app made specifically for that phone or that phone's OS for you to be able to have it on there.
What do the numbers on skyscraper helipads mean?
Q. If you look at aerial photos of skyscrapers (google earth, windows live local, etc) some buildings have a helipad for helicopter access. These helipads have numbers printed on them, usually 10, 11, or 12. What do these numbers mean.... pad size? weight capacity? elevation from ground? Something else?
A. They are weight limits in thousands of pounds. "10" is a weight limit of 10,000lbs. Most helipads are for private use only but marking them lets pilots now what they can support as emergency landing pads for helos that don't normally land there.
do I need wireless internet on the i pod touch?
Q. I was thinking about buying the i pod touch and was wondering if i need wireless internet for some apps such as Google Earth, live radio, maps or find my car. Do most apps need wireless internet if those require it?
A. I have a ipod touch and yes most of them do like myspace twitter and urbanspoon but there are still apps that you dont need for but if you live in a heavily populated area there are places you can get it for free like starbucks. A app i really enjoy is WifiTrak. It finds wifi for you and its free! I love my ipod touch and I think you should get one too. Hope that helps you!
