How often are the Google Maps satellite images updated?

Q. We've done quite a bit of renovations on our little farm and I'm curious when we'll get to see a change in the satellite view on Google Maps or Google Earth.

A. Google purchases the images from many different sources. Most of the images are purchased second hand - basically the images are not taken for the sole purpose of supplying them to Google. Most of the images are taken for completely different reasons and released to the public or sold to Google for extra profit.

Suggestion - your local government agency (county or city) should have a Geographic Information Sytems (GIS) department or division. They could be a great source of aerial photography.

I work for my local GIS division and we have images at 6" resolution taken in spring of 2008, 2007, 2006, 2003, 2001, and 1997.

Check with your local government - they will be the best source for updated imagery.

What is the formula for figuring out the best places to live for your sign?
Q. The book I have seems to give international places more often than U.S. places. I want to be able to calculate it for any city. From what I can tell by the book, they had a computer create charts for each month(?) and tried to make sure that certain planets were detrimented and others were exalted at certain times of year, without many retrogrades.

As a substitute, would a city that looks like the ones mentioned be suitable(as seen via Google Maps/Earth)?

A. astro.com has astro maps with personalise your planets throughout Countries Or the whole world if you want to. Also you could look at relocation charts, which use all the same data as your natal chart, but just change the location.

the natal chart is always the blueprint and the aspects are usually the same, but if you have planets in cadent/hidden houses, the may come angular and more visible and therefore usual to you

Is it possible to integrate Google Maps street view into Google Earth?
Q. Google Maps street view looks better and it's easier to use. Is there any way to integrate Google Maps street view into Google Earth?
