When is google street view UK going to put up the rest of the pictures?

Q. We saw the google car near our house in Manchester last October, but on google street view, you can't see our house! They've only put up the pictures for some of Manchester.

When are they planning on filling in the gaps?

A. I think all the photos have been taken and put up. There are gaps between various photos but thats how its meant to be I think as the photos are taken every few metres apart or so. Its probably irrelevant anyway because none of the photos will be left because of certain people who have no life and think its 'invading' their piracy, sad I think. And I live in Manchester too :D

What if Google street view was a live video feed?
Q. You know how Google Street nowadays have amazing clarity and quality on there pictures and you can walk through the streets and have a 360 view? Well what if instead of a picture, it was a live video, kind of like a webcam, but the quality is crystal clear like how it is now with the pictures. You could also hear people, cars or whatever noise is present in the street you are viewing.

A. I can safely say that cannot happen any time soon. We simply have not built our roads to have live 360 degree video cameras every few meters. Apart from the impossible cost to set this up and maintain it, it would be met with great opposition as people are very concerned with their privacy even though hundreds of cameras are watching them everyday.

How do you capture a screen on Google street view?
Q. I would like to capture a screen of my street on Google street view but I don't know how. I have seen others do it and use them as images online. How do I do this?

A. Press the 'Print Scrn' button (you don't need to press shift), it is the button to the right of F12 and above 'insert' ( I hope it is the same on your computer) but when you press the button it doesn't look like it hasn't worked because nothing happens, it has worked you just need to 'paste' it on word or powerpoint or something
