How can I block a specific url without buying more software?
Q. A porn url linked to aa site I visit often keeps opening a series of windows in spite of Google and UYahoo pop-iup blockers. Neither allows me to manually add a url to the blocked list. Any answers that won't cost me money?
A. Use your hosts file.
Locate the file as:
Windows XP = C:\ WINDOWS\ SYSTEM32\ DRIVERS\ ETC
Windows 2K = C:\ WINNT\ SYSTEM32\ DRIVERS\ ETC
Open it with note pad (it doesnt have a default program to open with so select it from the list)
Add the domain name that keeps opening then put some spaces and then put 127.0.0.1 so they are both on the same line.
You have to have <space>'s between, NOT tabs.
www.blurb.com 127.0.0.1
blurb.com 127.0.0.1
Save the file and whenever that site is requested in future it will fail to load as it will be using the address from your hosts file and not the DNS servers on the net.

How to add URL to Google, Yahoo and other searching webs?
Q. I've tried Google adsense and adurl, also Yahoo's. Yahoo's one need to pay and Google's one doesn't working. I've worked on the website for many years but still, can't be search.
A. Did you use Google's webmaster tools? Is your website indexed by Google? Did you add any sitemap and you have verified your site? If no then go to www.google.com/webmasters/tools/ and do all this. Your website will come in searches
