Can I listen to music on the Google phone just like on the Iphone?

Q. Can i download music and listen to it with headphones just like on the Iphone? I heard that u could be able to download music on the Google phone through Amazon in an app. Please answer. thank You!

A. Never tried it before but I know its done with amazon. If you're getting a g1 coming from a iphone be prepared for the difference. While the g1 is a nice phone tmobile is very behind in phone technology so the g1 isn't as good as an iphone and the apps are wack and useless. Not all of course some are good but... well... you'll see.

A. Well, you probably have to reset the phone back to the factory settings. When you first activate an Android phone, it requires you to sign into the device with a Google mail account. (If you don't have one, go on line and sign up for one...it's free). The phone will then sync all your email, contacts and calendar entries from your Google account to the phone automatically.

Sounds to me like the previous owner neglected to reset the phone.

In the settings, there's a place where you can reset the phone to the factory settings.

Menu > Settings > Security > Factory data reset > Reset phone > Erase everything
